The House hosts a satellite location of Evangel church that gathers most Sunday Nights at 6pm. You can find us at #1-240 Lougheed Road in College Business Park in Kelowna. We’re just a few kms from UBCO. A simple children’s ministry is available. Specialized ministries like youth are collaborative with
Evangel’s main campus at 3261 Gordon Drive.
What to expect
* We’re multi generational, but we’re focused on post-secondary students. Our message and style reflects that Young adults
are a big part of us.
* We’re casual and relaxed.
* We place a priority on relationships and encourage interaction with others.
* We combine teaching from The Bible with discussion on spiritual themes.
* We have a time of music and singing together and the words are displayed on a screen. (Many describe the music as being
the time they can sense the most energy.)
* We often make use of drama and other art forms to help in the communication of the message theme.
You’ll find us a random bunch of people who like to include others. There are very few customs and practices to learn and we promise we won’t do anything to single you out or pressure you.
Why come to church?
There’s a desire in humanity to explore spiritual origins and purpose. Being a part of a church helps frame this spiritual journey in understandable ways. We best know and experience God through relationship with others and being a part of a church helps facilitate this.
